Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe, Nevada & California, USA – 2012 & 2015. These photos are from two different trips to Reno and Lake Tahoe. The first was in April 2012 when I took a boat to visit Emerald Bay on the California shore of Lake Tahoe. It was still cold and there was some snow on the mountains. The second trip was in June 2015 and it was much warmer. I drove from Reno to Lake Tahoe and drove most of the way around the lake. I stopped for a rest in Mina Nevada on the drive back to Reno. Mina is about as close to a ghost town as you can get but still a few folks hanging on.
